A COZY NIGHT OF MUSIC, MOVEMENT & CONNECTION
Our last gathering was so amazing, we're doing it again! We're gathering our extended circle at NVRLND for a living-room-style dance party built around music, movement, cozy spaces and the people we’re grateful to know.
This private event page is our way of letting the gathering grow through friendship and personal connection. If there are people in your life you would genuinely love to dance, lounge and share the evening with, please invite them here.
We’ll have a communal snacking table throughout the night. If you feel inspired, you’re welcome to bring a favourite snack or appetizer to add to it but it’s completely optional! Find a cushion and settle in, or spend the night on the dance floor. There will also be an honor system cash bar with some beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options.
Two DJs from our community will carry us through the night. JES.B opens with her own set, followed by Zephrÿm (Jai). Then they’ll come together for a back-to-back set until we’re done!
Space is limited (only 50 tickets sold). Advance ticket purchase is required, and there will be no tickets available at the door. Tickets are a minimum $20 donation to cover event costs and in support of Body Art Motion new studio opening.

Born and raised in Calgary, JES.B blends deep house, tech house and classic house. After years of cutting shapes on dance floors and helping build stages and larger-than-life décor, she’s now mixing the music that moves them. Expect infectious rhythms, a groove-driven journey and pure get-down energy.
From the deep, sexy rhythms of Mother Earth to the sounds of global house culture, Zephrÿm has been warming souls and moving dance floors for over 25 years. A veteran of Calgary’s electronic music community, he began as J-Byrd, the Funky House Technician, evolved through Bass Caravan and Le Cirque de la Nuit, and now brings that journey to his sound as Zephrÿm. Body Art Motion (BAM) is an established movement education and performance organization dedicated to empowering women through movement, creativity, and embodied education.
Body Art Motion exists to help women remember the wisdom of their bodies by cultivating embodied sovereignty through movement, creativity, education, and community. We create transformative experiences that foster authentic expression, resilience, and meaningful connection, supporting women to participate fully in their own lives (at all stages of life) with confidence, presence, and purpose.
At Body Art Motion, embodied sovereignty is the practice of developing self-trust, confidence, and agency through direct experience in the body. We believe movement is not only a form of exercise or artistic expression, but a pathway to resilience, leadership, creativity, and authentic living.
We envision a world where every woman feels at home in her body, trusts her own inner wisdom, and is supported by a thriving community of creative, courageous, and compassionate women. Body Art Motion exists to provide the space where that transformation can unfold.
